Kendall Jenner and The Pepsi Commercial

by

People seem to not be happy with Pepsi’s new commercial with Kendall Jenner. Which isn’t really a surprise, you use someone from a family famed and known for appropriating black culture. But what are your thoughts? Let us know on Twitter @K104FM

I don’t see anything wrong with the ad, much to do about nothing.

Please tell me where and what part of this commercial does it have ANYTHING to do with black culture??? I mean I really don’t even see the relevance of anything in it….I don’t see anything wrong with it. Just other excuse to shame the Kardashians for no reason at all.

Not really sure what the issue with the commercial is. We are so hung up as a society on political innuendo that regardless of whats produced will be disected to the nth degree to find racialy inappropriate meaning, give it a break already.

MORE THAN ANYTHING I THINK THE COMMERCIAL IS HIGHLIGHTING THE NEW GENERATION OF YOUNG AMERICANS OF ALL RACES AND ETHNICITIES COMING TOGETHER MAKING THEIR VOICES HEARD, PROMOTING PEACE AND LOVE AND LETTING THE WORLD KNOW THAT ITS NOT ABOUT HATING LAW ENFORCEMENT…. PROTEST DOES NOT EQUAL HATE OF LAW ENFORCEMENT WHICH IS A BIG MISCONCEPTION … BEAUTIFULLY DONE PEPSI, YOU TOOK ON A RELEVANT AND SOMETIMES SENSITIVE ISSUE & MADE IT POWERFUL AND NOT OFFENSIVE…#PepsibringbackKendallscommercial

A lot of people don’t see nothing wrong with the commercial but I’m going to point out a couple of things for one if were fighting a revolution for freedom black people (world) why would you be standing there taking a picture because you have no fear because you’re white woman and why would I want to give the police a Pepsi? If a black woman raised her hand to give the police officer a Pepsi they probably would’ve beat to the ground but it’s okay for the white woman oh maybe because she feels safe and yes I’m a black woman …… I pray for ignorance and racial profiling to stop

So…..nobody know that Black Lives Matter created the protwsting platform and the Ferguson protest started this whole new generation “speak out and be heard” movement. So it is rather misappropriated when it comes to not having anyone in the commercial from black lives matter hell you could have put someone in a BLM shirt so you don’t “offend anyone” and for there not to really be a presence of black women. Hmmmm….I do encourage them taking it down especially when Pepsico employs so many women of color.

Shit way too long to be a commercial to begin with. I lost interest in the opening credits. Im sure it’s some type of fuckery in it though if a Kardashian is in it.

Love it stop always trying to make it negative every person is going to view it differently everyone is going to see it through their eyes the way they want it’s a nice commercial I think it Blends all cultures and it’s about togetherness and because Kendall is in it doesn’t make it a Black Culture what the hell does that mean
