Kelly Rowland has big things planned for her next studio album. The singer recently revealed that the follow-up to last year’s Talk A Good Game will include contributions from Pharrell Williams.
“Pharrell [Williams] is on board. We already talked about it,” Rowland says in an interview with Billboard. The duo previously collaborated on a song called “Feet to the Fire,” which served as a bonus track from Rowland’s last studio effort.
She also has her sights set on working with other in-demand producers. “I’d love for Timbaland to be on board. We’ve had discussions as well,” she adds.
Kelly continues that she’s open to working with up-and-coming artists for her forthcoming project. “I want to try to some new talent as well. There’s so much new talent…There’s somebody out there with something new to give and I’d love to tap into that as well,” she tells Billboard.
So where is she, currently, in the recording process? “I’m at the very very beginning stages of the record,” she says. “There are fresh ideas coming into the studio right now.”
