Kim Kardashian is gushing about family life with her fiance, Kanye West, and their seven-month-old daughter, North West. The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star praised the rapper for being an “amazing dad” in an interview airing Friday on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
“He loves her so much. He just left to go out of town, so I send him a picture and video every day,” Kim says. “And he’s like, ‘She grew up so much,’ and I’m like, ‘Babe, it’s been one day. You haven’t seen her in a day. Not a lot has changed.'”
While she describes Kanye as a “hands-on dad,” there’s still one thing he leaves for her to handle: dirty diapers.
“He’s not a diaper kind of guy, and that’s okay,” says Kardashian. “I know it sounds crazy, but I love my time with her when she’s on the changing table. She tries to talk so much, and I really enjoy that bonding time when I’m with her.”
So will the couple expand their family anytime soon? Kim adds that she’s “always wanted about six [kids],” but she endured a difficult pregnancy.
“I wouldn’t really wish that upon anyone. Anyone,” she says. “It’s all worth it in the end, so I would definitely suffer through that. But pregnancy was not a good experience for me. At all.”
In addition to sharing new photos of North, Kanye’s bride-to-be also discussed her surprise proposal and plans for their their wedding, which will occur later this summer. The pair haven’t yet decided on a date or location.
