Kanye West to Headline Glastonbury Festival 2015

Organizers announced via Twitter that the rapper will headline this year’s edition of the annual event, which is already sold out and runs from June 24 through June 28 in Somerset, England. “We’re very excited to announce that @kanyewest will headline the Saturday night at Glastonbury 2015,” the tweet reads.

The rapper joins rockers Foo Fighters, who were previously announced as the Friday headliner — Sunday’s headliner has yet to be revealed.

Kanye’s upcoming performance comes seven years after Jay Z became the first hip-hop act to headline the fest back in 2008.
