Looks like Kanye West‘s live event at New York City’s Madison Square Garden sold out within minutes, literally.
The rapper announced the news on Twitter and expressed his gratitude. “THANK YOU SO MUCH GUYS WE SOLD MADISON SQUARE GARDEN OUT IN 10 MINUTES!!!” he wrote.
Kanye is anxiously awaiting the show. “It was always a dream to have a listening party at Madison Square Garden,” he added. “On February 11th these dreams come true.”
If you weren’t fast enough to score tickets, Kanye hints there may be more available. “I held a few seats for stage design that may open up depending on Vanessa’s final layout,” he wrote.
His wife, Kim Kardashian, congratulated her man via Twitter: “For years Kanye has always talked about showing his collection at Madison Square Garden! I’m so happy to see his dream become a reality!!!” The event will also feature the debut of Kanye’s latest fashion line.
As previously reported, the live event will see Kanye performing the album in its entirety, along with a performance from his frequent collaborator, Italian contemporary artist Vanessa Beecroft. It will also be streamed at theaters in over 20 countries around the world, including Australia, Spain, Ireland and Switzerland.
