Kanye West has pleaded not guilty of battery in case in which he is charged with attacking a photographer outside Los Angeles International Airport in July.
TMZ reports the rapper, who is facing charges of criminal battery and attempted grand theft for allegedly taking the photographer’s camera, submitted his plea through his lawyer Blair Berk on Thursday morning. While Ye was not present in court, photographer Daniel Ramos and his attorney Gloria Allred were both present.
As we previously reported, if West is convicted of both misdemeanors he faces a possible maximum sentence of one year in jail.
