The publication notes West came out on top with 53.89 percent of the fan vote, narrowly beating out model Lucky Blue Smith. “From the debut of his Yeezy label at New York Fashion Week back in February to the rollout of Yeezy Boosts throughout the year that instantly sold out, West had a dominant hand in defining how men wanted to look in 2015,” GQ writes.
Kanye’s crowning marks the second year in a row that he’s topped the annual list. “Thank you GQ and to everyone who voted, it’s been an amazing year!!!” West responded on Twitter.
His wife, Kim Kardashian West, chimed in: “YOU DID IT GUYS!!!!! KANYE WON!!! THANK YOU FOR VOTING! #GQ.”
