It’s hard to believe that Kanye West still hasn’t decided on an official title for his forthcoming album, but it seems he’s narrowing it down.
After declaring last week that his album was titled Waves — after earlier announcing it’d be titled Swish — Kanye now hints there might be a completely different name for the project, which he intends to keep under wraps. “There may be a new secret album title,” he tweeted Sunday night.
Kanye has been struggling with a title for a while now. Even his wife, Kim Kardashian, recently posted a Twitter poll to see if the set should be named Swish, Waves or its initial title, So Help Me God.
West has until Wednesday, February 10 to decide on a title for his seventh studio set, which is due out February 11.
Earlier this month, Kanye described the project as “one of the greatest albums” that was being made “out of respect” for the greats. “So many musicians touch my life and made me who I am,” he wrote. “I want to make something great to honor my idols…”
