Image Courtesy Peter Kramer/NBCIn promoting Kanye West‘s appearance on her talk show Monday, Ellen DeGeneres excitedly announced the name of the rapper’s upcoming. The only problem is that she got the name wrong.
A post on The Ellen DeGeneres Show website read: “Kanye West will be here for an exclusive interview! He has a new CD coming out called Only One. I hope I can keep it.” But a rep for Kanye tells Billboard that Ellen’s information is “incorrect.”
“Only One” is the title of the album’s single which is a tribute to the rapper’s late mother Donda West and his daughter North West. No word from the rep, however, on what the album actually will be called.
