K. Michelle Thankful for Anybody Wanna Buy a Heart? Sales Projections

by

Keith Major/Atlantic RecordsK. Michelle is thrilled with the first-week sales forecasts for her latest album, Anybody Wanna Buy a Heart?

According to Hits Daily Double, the singer’s sophomore effort is on pace to sell 80,000 to 85,000 copies in its opening week.

The singer reacted to the news in an Instagram video. “I’m so thankful just for everything going on in my life, my album sales are looking really nice and on fleek,” she says in the clip.

“A big THANK YOU. We are off to the races,” she wrote in the caption.

The project includes her single “Love ‘Em All” and a song called “Drake Would Love Me,” as well as production from Eric Hudson, Pop & Oak and Timothy Bloom.

Michelle’s sales start could potentially best those of her first disc, 2013’s Rebellious Soul, which entered the Billboard 200 album chart at number two with 72,000 units sold in its opening week in stores.

The official sales tally will be released next Wednesday.
