The Record Academy has expanded its line-up of performers for the 56th annual Grammy Awards, which airs later this month.
John Legend, who’s up for Best R&B Album for Love in the Future, is among the newly-announced acts scheduled to take stage. The crooner tweeted, “Excited to announce that I’ll be performing at @TheGRAMMYS!! Watch on CBS Jan 26!!”
Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, who have seven nominations, including Album of the Year, will also perform at the ceremony. They join fellow Grammy performers Taylor Swift, Sara Bareilles Keith Urban, and the two living Beatles, Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr.
Previously confirmed acts includes Robin Thicke, Kendrick Lamar, Daft Punk, Stevie Wonder, Lorde, Metallica, Imagine Dragons, Willie Nelson, Katy Perry, Pink, Nate Ruess and others.
Jay Z leads all nominees with nine nods, including Best Rap Song, Best Rap Album and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance. He’s followed by Kendrick Lamar, Pharrell Williams and Justin Timberlake, all with seven nominations.
Hosted by LL Cool J, the Grammy Awards will broadcast flive rom the Staples Center in Los Angeles Sunday, January 26 at 8 p.m. ET on CBS.
