John Legend and Jamie Foxx will take part in a star-studded tribute to legendary vocalist Frank Sinatra next month to celebrate what would have been the late singer’s 100th birthday.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Tina Sinatra, the youngest of Sinatra’s three children, confirmed that Legend will perform “Young at Heart,” and Foxx will sing “In the Wee Small Hours” on December 2 in Las Vegas, for a show that will later air as a two-hour concert special on CBS. The entertainers will be joined by Tony Bennett, Lady Gaga and Garth Brooks during the special.
“Without dad, Las Vegas’ history would be very different,” says Tina of her father’s impact on the city. “He epitomized a lifestyle and an idea of glamour that made a genuine impact on Las Vegas in the 1950s and ’60s.”
Frank Sinatra was born December 12, 1915 in Hoboken, New Jersey and died in May 1998.
