After announcing the release date of her debut album Souled Out, Jhené Aiko has issued her new single, “The Pressure.” The singer recalls a stressful relationship on the Fisticuffs-produced track.
“The way you feel is not my problem / I don’t want to see you go / But I don’t have time to solve this,” she sings.
The song is available to stream via her SoundCloud page.
Aiko plans to pay homage to her hometown of Los Angeles on her much-anticipated album.
“People don’t give L.A. the credit it deserves for being creative and cultured. We are just as open-minded as artists from other places,” she said during an interview with Vogue. “And we are venturing . . . It’s not just gangster rap.”
