Jhené Aiko‘s debut EP, Sail Out, has landed within the top ten on the Billboard 200 chart this week.
According to the publication, the 25-year-old singer’s project entered at #8 and sold 34,000 copies in its first seven days in stores. The seven-song collection features appearances from Kendrick Lamar and Childish Gambino.
Jhene can be heard on various hip-hop albums, including Drake‘s Nothing Was the Same, which slipped from #7 to #9 on the chart, selling an additional 33,000 copies. Fans can catch Aiko on Drizzy’s Would You Like a Tour, which pulls into Anaheim, California on November 21.
Elsewhere on the chart, last week’s chart-topper, Eminem’s The Marshall Mathers LP 2, falls to #2 in its second week, selling 210,000 units.
