Jeezy has been tapped to become the multicultural advisor for premium liquor brand Tequila Avion.
“I have been a tequila fan for many years and because of this, people are always telling me to try their tequila and claiming theirs is the best,” said Jeezy in a press release. “I have tried them all, but when I tried Avion for the first time, the quality, luxury packaging and smooth taste blew me away, so I wasn’t surprised to learn it was voted the ‘world’s best tasting tequila.'”
With his “love of the product,” the rapper will “elevate” the Avion brand by sharing his unique perspective on the multicultural consumer, in an effort to help guide Ken Austin, the founder and chairman of Tequila Avion.
Jeezy joins a growing list of rappers who have invested, launched or endorsed an alcoholic beverage, including Nicki Minaj, Ludacris, Diddy, Pharrell and Lil John.
