Janelle Monae is gearing up to hit the road. The singer has announced the dates for her first outing with her Wondaland artists, officially dubbed the Eeephus Tour; but there’s a catch: all the shows will be free and invite-only. Fans will have to sign up at Wondaland.com for a chance to get into the shows.
Alongside “Classic Man” singer Jidenna, Monae will kick off the eight-city tour on August 12 in Philadelphia. They will stop in major markets including New York, Chicago, Los Angeles and San Francisco before wrapping up with a homecoming show in Atlanta on August 31. New acts and labelmates Roman GianArthur, Deep Cotton and St. Beauty also will be on the roster.
The trek will coincide with the release of Wondaland Presents: The Eephus, a five-song compilation EP arriving on August 14.
