J. Cole has dropped a bombshell. The rapper, who spent most of the year on tour, has announced that fans will get a new album in less than three weeks.
On December 9, the rapper will release his third album, 2014 Forest Hills Drive, which is the address of Cole’s childhood home in Fayetteville, North Carolina. “What up? My New Album is finished,” wrote Cole in a note accompanying an album trailer posted on YouTube. “This time I’m releasing no singles, just the album. See you in 3 weeks. Thank you for the love and support.”
The upcoming 13-track set will serve as the follow-up to last year’s Born Sinner.
