The hip-hop star’s big news was apparently spilled by Creed director Ryan Coogler, who accidentally let it slip during a Martin Luther King Jr. Day live-stream event.
“How did getting married change you, bro?” asks Coogler in a clip from the live-stream #MLKNOW event, posted on Only Hip Hop Facts’ Twitter page.
“Oh, what is that?” a shocked Cole answers.
“I told you I’ve never interviewed somebody before,” notes Coogler, before asking, “Nobody knows?”
“Well, they know now,” laughs Cole.
Cole, whose birth name is Jermaine Lamarr Cole, has yet to comment on social media. It had been rumored he was engaged to longtime girlfriend Melissa Heholt.
