Jason Merritt/Getty Images via ABCWhat happens on Twitter, stays on Twitter. Iggy Azalea tells Entertainment Weekly that even though she’s had her fair share of Twitter battles, she won’t be rapping about them on her upcoming, new album, Digital Distortion.
“This album isn’t about Twitter battles,” she says. “It’s about the way other people can distort your character and having the power through technology to do that.”
The album — which she describes as “a little bit darker and moodier” than her debut — also will contain a rare love song. “It’s the one song I did that’s lovey because [my fiancé] Nick [Young] was like, ‘You don’t have any love songs. I don’t exist,’” she says. “I usually do break-up ‘I hate you songs,’ but I’m getting married so I can’t write those anymore.”
Seems like the two have smoothed things out since Nick’s cheating scandal back in March.
Digital Distortion comes out June 24.
