Iggy Azalea is making progress planning her upcoming wedding to basketball star boyfriend, Nick Young. While appearing on the Australian TODAY show, the rapper spilled the details about her big day, which will be held in Los Angeles.
“I haven’t done the dress yet,” she said. “I’ve done the photographer, the date and the place.”
The rapper adds that she’s looking to get a string quartet to play at the wedding. “My stepmother, she plays the cello, so I just think that string instruments are so beautiful,” Azalea explained. “Whatever it is, it has to be string instruments — they always make everybody cry.”
Iggy and Nick got engaged during hiss 30th birthday party, where he got down on bended knee and presented Iggy with a yellow canary diamond engagement ring. But Iggy reveals that she anticipated it.
“I had a feeling before he proposed because he kept saying drunkenly, ‘If I asked you to marry me right now, would you say yes? Would you? Would you?’ ” she said. “I was like, ‘I feel like he is going to probably propose to me and he’s trying to make sure I’m definitely going to say yes.'”
