Jason Merritt/Getty Images via ABCNew Iggy Azalea music is on its way. In response to a fan question on Twitter, the Aussie rapper reveals the lead single off her upcoming sophomore album is called “Team.”
Iggy then briefly describes the song’s message and sound. “Meaning: ive got my own back, i am my own team. 20% meaningful 70% bop 10% ratchet,” she writes. And if that wasn’t enough to get fans pumped, she later posted a short preview clip of the tune’s outro.
But don’t get too excited. Iggy also says the single won’t be out in January. Instead, she’ll be releasing “content, buzz songs, viral videos and other cool stuff” to tide fans over.
Iggy’s next album is called Digital Distortion. She tweets it’ll be influenced by pop music, among many other things.
