Jason Merritt/Getty Images via ABCAfter initially postponing her Great Escape tour due to production delays, Iggy Azalea reportedly has now cancelled the tour completely.
An email apparently went out to ticket holders today, informing them of the cancellation. One fan tweeted an image of the email, which reads, “The Iggy Azalea Great Escape Tour scheduled for this fall has been cancelled and refunds are available at point of purchase.”
It adds, “There will be a new tour planned around Iggy’s new record to be released in 2016 and we apologize for any inconvenience.”
The trek was to be the Aussie rapper’s first arena tour and was slated to kick off September 18 in San Diego. It was originally supposed to begin in the spring, but Iggy postponed it in March after reportedly splitting with her tour producer over “creative differences.” She later teamed up with the production designer behind Katy Perry’s Super Bowl halftime show and Britney Spears’ Vegas show Piece of Me.
Iggy has yet to comment.
