ABC/Randy HolmesIggy Azalea made a brief return to social media Tuesday night to tout her new single with Britney Spears, “Pretty Girls.” The Aussie rapper’s collaboration with Brit will be released May 5, and the two were spotted shooting the music video for the song — which Iggy co-directed — last week.
“Hi just wanted to come online and tell you all how extremely excited iam for Pretty Girls to be released & that we are going to perform it 2,” Iggy tweeted.
She also gave fans a hint at what her next album, a follow-up to her debut The New Classic, will be like. “I’m still working on my album and things are going good. “work” type vibes, earlier fans will be happy 2 hear,” she wrote, referencing her early single, “Work.”
Despite her tweets, Iggy says she’s still on her self-imposed social media hiatus, but she said she wants to remain connected with her fans. “I’m still off social media but i have decided that Im going to do a monthly chat with you guys so we can stay connected, mayb a video stream,” she tweeted.
In the meantime, her management continues to handle her Twitter and Instagram accounts.
