After leaving Twitter last week, Iggy Azalea has officially abandoned her Instagram account as well.
A message was posted Friday on the account, announcing that it will now be run by her management. “Until further notice Iggy’s Instagram will be run by management. Iggy is taking a break from social media,” the caption reads. “She loves all her Azaleans!!”
It seems Iggy may be over social media altogether: she recently handed her Twitter account as well to her management team, after unflattering images from her Hawaii vacation with her boyfriend, Nick Young, surfaced online.
“I feel the hatred and pettiness i see online at all times is at making me become an angry person and I cannot be that,” she explained early last month in a series of tweets. “To become nasty because of the way I feel iam treated would be a disservice to my fans and I promise i will try to keep smiling. … But I also want to let my fans know iam taking some time away from social media. I need to be happy and it is too negative and draining.”
