Aaron Davidson/Getty ImagesAustralian rapper Iggy Azalea is back in the headlines again, this time asking for privacy about her tumultuous relationship with NBA player and fiance Nick Young.
The “Fancy” rapper was recently seen without her engagement ring after a recent video surfaced of Nick allegedly speaking about the time he cheated on Iggy with a 19-year old woman. The video, which was posted on Sapchat by his L.A. Lakers teammate, D’Angelo Russell, was later followed by a second video taken by an alleged side chick.
Iggy sent out a series of tweets addressing controversy, stating: “For the record, i havent broken up with Nick. We are still together and i would love to be given a little (a lot) of privacy on the matter.”
The rapper adds, ” I always answer questions honestly. But my job is to promote my music, not my relationship. Id love to be interviewed about the former only.”
Iggy’s upcoming album, Digital Distortion, comes out in June. Her latest video, “Team,” can be seen on YouTube.
