Ice Cube Supports Kanye West’s Decision to Run for President

Ice Cube is willing to support Kanye West, who recently stated his intentions to run for president in the 2020 election while giving his acceptance speech at Sunday’s MTV Video Music Awards.

“I’m voting for Kanye,” said Cube in an interview with Daily Mail. “Who is better than Kanye that would run?”

The former N.W.A rapper adds he has no problems with Kim Kardashian serving as the First Lady. “If that’s what it is, that’s what it is. No matter who is the president, you got to all get up and go to work in the morning,” Cube says.

But what about Cube’s political aspirations? Cube laughed, adding that politics just isn’t his thing: “You know, I’m into helping my people get over the hump. I don’t have time to help everybody. We got a lot of work to do.”

Earlier this week, Rihanna expressed that she would also vote for Kanye. “I love seeing him like that. I love seeing him in that raw, honest state.” She adds, “We’ll see! 2020? I hope he really does!”
