Ice Cube Planning NWA Reunion at Coachella

by

Aaron Davidson/FilmMagicAs his movie Ride Along 2 ended Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ four-week reign at number one, Ice Cube revealed he’s planning an N.W.A. reunion.

The rapper/actor announced on The Talk, “I’ve got some tricks up my sleeves. I’m gonna try to bring the members of N.W.A together.” He continued, “Give everybody a little history lesson on Ice Cube and N.W.A, West Side Connection, everything I’ve been doing over the years.” Ice Cube is scheduled to perform April 16 and April 23 at the Coachella Festival held in Indio, California.

Last June, he shared the stage with N.W.A. alumni MC Ren and DJ Yella at the BET Experience in Los Angeles, however Dr. Dre was not involved. 2016 is already a landmark year for N.W.A., as the group will be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, and their biopic, Straight Outta Compton, received an Oscar nomination for Best Screenplay.
