Beyonce.comIf you’re looking for to buy tickets to Beyonce and Jay Z ‘s recently announced joint via sellers like Stubhub, get ready to pay up.  It turns out getting tickets on the secondary market to the couple’s first official outing together, dubbed the On the Run tour, is significantly more expensive than it was to score tickets for their solo headlining tours.

Forbes cites data complied by ticket resale aggregator TiqIQ, tickets to the power couple’s highly anticipated tour are commanding an average ticket price of $342.67 on the secondary market.  That’s more than 90 higher than the $180.20 average price on the secondary market for a ticket to JayZ’s solo Magna Carta tour last fall.

An average On The Run ticket on the marketplace is more than 16 percent more costly than an average ticket was for Beyonce’s Mrs. Carter Show world tour. Those tickets averaged $294.01.

Prices fans were willing to pay for Jay’s previous joint outings with Eminem and even Justin Timberlake paled in comparison too.  Fans forked over an average of $279.50 on the secondary market to see Hov and Slim Shady, while it cost folks around $187.98 on average to catch him with JT.

The pair’s tickets even out price those for Em’s forthcoming joint Monster tour with Rihanna, currently priced at an average of $226.35 on the secondary market.

Meanwhile, Jay and Beyonce’s 16-city outing kicks off with a June 25 show in Miami and wraps up August 5 in San Francisco. Head to Beyonce.com for details and the full itinerary.
