Kevin Mazur/Getty Images for Live NationRap music artist French Montana made a cool $60,000, Billboard reports, thanks to a bet with Drake over Sunday night’s NBA Championship final. Montana rooted for the Cleveland Cavs, who triumphed over the Golden State Warriors.
Montana posted a short Instagram video expressing his gratitude to the Canadian rapper for the extra pocket change.
“Shout out to my brother Drizzy Drake, for that 60 bands ’cause you ain’t believe in LeBron,” he says in the clip.
Funny enough, Drake is the global ambassador for the Toronto Raptors.
