Frank Ocean has teamed up with Diplo and two rock legends on a new collaboration for the latest installment of Converse’s “Three Artists. One Song” series.
For the first time ever, the Odd Future singer worked with The Clash’s Mick Jones and Paul Simonon on a track called “Hero,” which was recorded in London, Hawaii and Los Angeles.
“Working with Mick and Paul was a dream come true, add in Frank, it got even better,” said Diplo in a statement. “The experience was just totally awesome.”
“Hero” will be available for free download on March 10 at Conversemusic.Tumblr.com.
André 3000, Kid Cudi, Pharrell, Soulja Boy and Gorillaz are among the artists who have participated in Converse’s “Three Artists. One Song” series.
