As forecast, Fetty Wap claims the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 with his debut album.
According to the publication, the rapper’s self-titled set sold 129,000 album equivalent units its first week, which included 75,000 in pure album sales. The feat makes Fetty the first rapper to reach No. 1 with a studio debut since A$AP Rocky‘s 2013 effort, Long.Live.A$AP.
Fetty’s debut pushed Drake and Future‘s joint mixtape, What a Time to Be Alive, down to the number-two spot in its second week, during which it sold an additional 107,000 units.
Elsewhere in the top 10, The Weeknd’s Beauty Behind the Madness slips from #3 to #5, with 81,000 units sold.
