Estelle‘s newly released single, “Conqueror,” will serve two purposes. The inspirational song will be heard on her forthcoming album, True Romance, and it will also appear on the official soundtrack for Addicted.
The tune, which highlights the beauty of the human spirit, will be featured in the end credits of the upcoming film, based on the best-selling novel by Zane. The movie follows a character played by Sharon Leal who is a doting wife to Boris Kodjoe‘s character but becomes involved in a love triangle.
“I’d rather stand tall than live on my knees / ‘Cause I am conqueror and I won’t accept defeat,” sings Estelle on the uplifting tune.
The film hits theaters on October 10.
