Eminem and Rihanna have crossed a new milestone with their hit single “Love the Way You Lie.”
The music video for their collaborative hit has reached one billion views on Vevo since being released in 2010, according to the video’s view counter on Vevo. The feat shouldn’t be too big of a surprise though, after all on the day of the video’s release, it broke a YouTube record for the most views in a single day at the time with 6.6 million.
The song was a huge hit for Em and Rih, holding the number-one slot on the Billboard Hot 100 for seven weeks, from July 31 until September 18, 2010, later receiving five Grammy nominations.
The video also is nearly at a billion views on YouTube, clocking in at more than 993 million as of midday Tuesday.
