Eminem pays homage to the fictional British icon Max Headroom in the futuristic video for his single “Rap God,” which was posted on Em’s official YouTube page on Wednesday.
In the clip, Slim Shady is hooked up to various televisions that seemingly download information into his brain, ranging from popular events in history to images of hip-hop legends like Rakim, Eazy-E and Run-D.M.C. which flash across the screen.
“Rap God” appears on his latest album The Marshall Mathers LP 2, which currently sits at number one on the Billboard 200 chart.
Fans can also expect the rapper soon to unleash the video for “The Monster” featuring Rihanna, which was also shot in Detroit.
