Following their 2010 collaboration on “Love the Way You Lie,” Eminem and Rihanna reunite for “The Monster,” the new single from Slim Shady’s upcoming album The Marshall Mathers LP 2, due out next month.
“I’m friends with the monster that’s under my bed/ Get along with the voices inside of my head/ Keep tryin’ to save me/ Stop holding your breath/ And you think I’m crazy/ Well that’s not fair,” Rihanna belts on the track, which is posted on Shady Record’s official SoundCloud page. The cut will be available for purchase on iTunes at midnight.
Fans can expect The Marshall Mathers LP 2 to include contributions from Kendrick Lamar and Skylar Grey, with Dr. Dre and Rick Rubin serving as executive producers. The highly anticipated set is due November 5.
