Eminem is taking a walk down memory lane. To celebrate the 15th anniversary of Shady Records, the rapper has partnered with Complex for a new documentary called Not Afraid: The Shady Records Story.
In the 32-minute film, the rap veteran recalls the launching Shady Records alongside his managerPaul Rosenberg. With commentary from Dr. Dre and 50 Cent, the film highlights the rise of the label, which was responsible for introducing acts like 50 Cent, D12, Obie Trice, Slaughterhouse, andYelawolf.
“Within the next 15 years, we’ll try to keep sh** going and try to sign new exciting acts. Hopefully discover the next whatever,” says Em.
