Aftermath RecordsEminem premiered his new video “Detroit Vs. Everybody” online Friday.
Slim Shady stars in the black-and-white clip with Big Sean, Royce da 5’9″, Danny Brown, Trick Trick and Dej Loaf. They appear in various settings throughout Detroit rhyming about growing up in the Motor City. Em performs inside the Masonic Temple, Royce and Dej on rooftops, and Brown and Sean rap in dilapidated buildings. Detroit’s entertainment and sports venues are also showcased including Ford Field, Joe Louis Arena and Comerica Park.
The song is named after Detroit designer Tommey Walker‘s clothing line and appears on the Shady XV compilation album that was released in November 2014. “Detroit Vs. Everybody” was directed by Syndrome whose credits include Eminem’s clips for “Berzerk,” “Rap God” and “Guts over Fear.”
