At exactly 5 p.m, the rapper shared a link to a nearly seven-minute track called “Director’s Cuts – Immortal Portal,” which was posted on YouTube and only included haunting music with no verses from Em. Much to many fans disappointment, according to Slim Shady’s post the cut was only “1/5,” indicating that there would be additional tracks.
Shortly after, the rapper posted a new song called “Rap God” for his patient fans, who seem pleased with his raw verses over the bass-heavy beat. One fan commented on his page, “Awesome man! cant wait for the rest of the album,” while another added, “This is the one song I wanted to hear. I am not disappointed.”
“Rap God” will be made available on iTunes at midnight. The cut is lifted off Eminem’s upcoming album The Marshall Mathers LP 2, which includes the Rick Rubin-produced single “Berzerk.” The set is scheduled to hit stores November 5.
