Shady Records will not only release Eminem‘s next album, The Marshall Mathers LP 2, later this fall, but the company is also moving into the film business.
According to ShadyRecords.com, Shady Films has inked a content development and production deal with Ben Silverman’s LOUD channel. Shady has also taken an equity stake in LOUD’s parent company Electus, that company announced. Although the two companies had already been collaborating, the deal will grant the WatchLOUD.com a first look at all Shady Films productions.
The new venture will include new programs with Slaughterhouse and other artists, as well as continued production of Detroit Rubber, an online series about Michigan sneaker shop Burn Rubber.
As previously reported, Em’s highly anticipated disc, The Marshall Mathers LP 2, is set to hits stores November 5.
