This week saw the surprise release of Drake‘s If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late, which is projected to have a huge sales start, based on first-day forecasts.
According to Hits Daily Double, industry insiders estimate that the rapper’s set will sell approximately 500,000 copies by Sunday. Those figures are significantly higher than initial sales figures for Beyonce‘s self-titled surprise release, which opened 310,000 copies sold.
The official sales tally will be released next Wednesday.
