Drake will soon add another plaque to his growing collection from the Recording Industry of America. The rapper’s retro-single, “Hold On, We’re Going Home“ featuring Majid Jordan has reached platinum status, which means the song has sold more than a million copies since its release.
The track is lifted from his latest album, Nothing Was the Same, which also spawned his platinum-selling hit “Started from the Bottom.” The mid-tempo cut also sits at the #4 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
This week saw Drizzy’s third studio effort fall from #1 to #2 on the Billboard 200 album chart, selling an additional 148,000 copies.
