Drake has big plans for his highly anticipated album, Views from the 6. Although Drizzy has remained mum on the project, his longtime producer Noah “40” Shebib has revealed what fans should expect of the rapper’s upcoming set.
“It’s going to be what everybody expects and wants from Drake and from us,” Shebib told The New York Times. “A lot of introspection, very vivid. He’s discovering new flows, new cadences, new patterns.”
In addition, fans should also anticipate some “untraditional sounds,” according to Shebib.
“I’m trying to find ways to pull more unntraditional sounds in, to push the boundaries a little further. Something about it should be special,” says the producer, who’s worked with Drizzy since his 2009 breakthrough mixtape, So Far Gone.
Views from the 6 is due out sometime in April.
