Drake Remains #1 with Views

Photo credit: Dan MartensenDrake continues to dominate the album chart as he holds onto the number one spot for a fourth straight week.

Views has been number one on the Billboard 200 for the most weeks by a male artist in more than four years.

Michael Buble held the number-one slot for five weeks, from December 2011 to January 2012, with his Christmas album. The last non-holiday album by a male artist to remain at number one for more than four weeks was Eminem‘s Recovery which was number one for seven weeks in 2010.

Views chalked up 189,000 equivalent album units, including 50,000 traditional album sales, in the week ending May 26. The album also is setting online records. It owns the top four largest streaming weeks in history: 245.1 million streams during its debut week, 186.1 million in week three, 116.3 million in its fourth and current week, and 140.8 million in week two.
