Andrew Lipovsky/NBCDrake stopped by The Tonight Show on Thursday to plug his fourth studio album Views, his upcoming stint as host and musical guest on Saturday Night Live. He also joined host Jimmy Fallon for a friendly game of “Faceketball.”
With the Toronto Raptors basketball team just one game away from beating the Miami Heat to advance to the NBA Eastern Conference Finals, Fallon challenged the Toronto-born rapper to a game of “Faceketball,” where they slipped mini basketball hoops on their heads and competed in a shootout. The first to hit three shots won.
The game eventually fell apart after Fallon tried a dunk shot and Drake followed suit, breaking Jimmy’s hoop.
The 29-year-old “6 God” — a reference to Toronto’s area code 416 — also sat down with Fallon and discussed the album, and the mini-Drake memes inspired by the Views cover art, which shows a tiny Drake sitting atop Toronto’s massive CN Tower. They also talked about Drake’s new whiskey, Virginia Black, and his parents.
