Cash Money RecordsDrake‘s Views remains on top of the Billboard 200 album chart for a seventh consecutive week.
According to the magazine , Views is the first album by a male artist to spend that many straight weeks at number one since Eminem‘s The Marshal Mathers LP 16 years ago. Em’s album topped the Billboard 200 for eight straight weeks June and July of 2000.
The last act of any sort to spend seven straight weeks on top was Adele, whose 25 was number one for the first seven weeks following its release in December of 2015.
