As promised, Drake has released the full official version of his new song “Trophies,” one of the five previously unreleased songs the rapper promised to issue before the year is over.
The horn-heavy song was posted on his official blog, OctobersVeryOwn.com. It was produced by Hit-Boy and co-produced by Hagler and Noah “40″ Shebib.
“I’m just tryna stay alive and take care of my people/ And they don’t have no award for that/ Trophies,” raps Drizzy, who also speaks about his parents’ divorce and his self-made success on the explicit track.
Over the weekend, Drake also issued his remix of Soulja Boy’s “We Made It,” which can be heard via Drake’s SoundCloud page.
