Image Courtesy Eric McCandless/CBSDrake is among the headlining acts confirmed for Coachella, the music and arts festival, which will be held in Indio, California over two weekends on April 10 through 12 and April 17 through 19.
According to the event’s website, the rapper will close each weekend of the highly anticipated festival, which will also include performances from The Weeknd, Azealia Banks, Tyler, the Creator, Run the Jewels, Ab-Soul, Lil B, Action Bronson, Vic Mensa, Raekwon and Ghostface Killah, among others.
Drizzy joins a short list of rappers who have headlined Coachella including Jay Z, Kanye West, Snoop Dogg, and OutKast, who reunited during last year’s festival.
Hopefully, the showcase will see Drake performing new material from his upcoming, fourth album Views from the 6, arriving this spring.
Tickets go on sale on Wednesday, January 7, at noon PST.
