His collaborative project with Future, What a Time to Be Alive, sold 334 thousand copies — the second-biggest sales week for an album in 2015.
It also tallied an additional 41 thousand equivalent album units, which takes into account sales and streams of album tracks.
What a Time to Be Alive debuted on Sunday, September 20, with no advance promotion.
Drake also went to #1 on the Billboard 200 earlier this year with If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late, which sold 495 thousand copies in its first week.
