Diddy Tops Hip-Hop Cash Kings 2015 List

MARIO PEREZ/CBS Back in June, Diddy topped Forbes’ 2015 list of the World’s Highest-Paid Celebrities. Now. the rapper has claimed the top position on the magazine’s annual Hip-Hop Cash Kings list.
 
Diddy dethrones Dr. Dre for No. 1 with $60 million earned over the last 12 months, thanks to his lucrative Ciroc vodka, TV network Revolt, clothing line Sean John and alkaline water brand Aquahydrate.

For the second year in a row, Jay Z comes in a close second with $56 million in annual earnings, which he amassed thanks to Roc Nation and Armand de Brignac champagne.

Up one spot from last year’s ranking is Drake with $39.5 million, which he earned through touring and Sprite and Nike endorsements.

Rounding out the top five are Dr. Dre with $33 million, and Pharrell Williams with $32 million. Also noteworthy is Nicki Minaj, who is the only female listed with  $21 million earned at No. 9.
