Did Quentin Miller Contribute to Drake’s Verse on R.I.C.O. Without Credit?

Although Meek Mill may have lost the biggest rap battle of the year, some online evidence suggests he might have been right about Drake using ghostwriter Quentin Miller on Meek and Drizzy’s collaborative song “R.I.C.O.”

According to Complex, Drake is among three writers listed in the liner notes for the song which appears on Meek’s latest album, Dreams Worth More than Money. Miller is not listed. But a demo has leaked online of Miller reciting lyrics over the same beat, which may suggest that Meek was justified in his early claims that he was misled by Drake’s camp.

While the exact nature of the track that’s leaked online is unclear, Meek has continued to attack Drake on social media and in his diss track, “Wanna Know,” in which he includes a demo track of Miller spitting bars to songs that are similar to Drake’s track.

Last week, Miller declared on Tumblr page: “I am not and never will be a ‘ghostwriter’ for drake.. I’m proud to say that we’ve collaborated .. but i could never take credit for anything other than the few songs we worked on together.”
